What is CJSF? The California Junior Scholarship Federation (CJSF) emphasizes high standards of scholarship and community service for California junior high school students. Founded in 1967, the California Junior Scholarship Federation is part of CSF, the oldest scholarship institution in the state of California.
How do I apply? CJSF Membership is based on scholarship and is gained after qualifying grades are earned each semester. In order to become a member, the student must submit an application each semester the student is eligible. A point system specified in the CJSF State By-Laws establishes the membership requirements. During the open application process, obtain an application from the counseling office and fill it out based on your semester grades.
What are the benefits of CJSF membership? CJSF prepares the student for CSF membership. Membership also brings with it the opportunity to participate in activities which benefit the school, the community, and the student.
